Bonnie’s story begins at the neo-natal intensive care unit. There she learned the importance of connecting with someone walking on the same path. Her family struggled for years with the diagnosis of her son and coming to terms with the process. After reaching out to the Family Support Institute of BC, she was amazed by the program, and became a volunteer immediately. Over the last 30 years, she has worked diligently for FSI and the families it serves.
